Raging Bull (1980)

Awarded Oscar for the best actor performance in this film, Robert De Niro plays a boxer whose complexities erupt into a spree of violence and psychological tension. Directed by Martin Scorsese, this film, as said by The New York Times, portrays the "landscape of the soul".
